The Need

Shining light on a dire need for genuine authentic leader development

One study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management (2015) showed that the top two factors which negatively impacted an employee at work were: poor management (75%) and no longer being motivated at work (45%).

Interestingly, another recent survey of 3,447 middle and senior level managers conducted by a consulting firm found that when asked what kind of coaching or training they would prefer 59.8 percent said leadership development and 47.8 percent said communication skills.

It appears as though both sides of the equation seem to understand that there is a problem as well as the general area of the solution, i.e., comprehensive leadership development.

So why is the problem so pervasive and seemingly so difficult to solve?
